Job Purpose
The Senior Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing logistics activities for construction projects, ensuring the timely and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and resources to project sites. The role supports effective transportation, delivery, storage, and logistics planning while ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the transportation and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites.

• Monitor logistics schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

• Coordinate with Procurement, Project, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.

• Manage and monitor transportation providers, suppliers, and logistics service providers.

• Track shipments, deliveries, and material movements and maintain accurate logistics records.

• Support site teams in coordinating equipment, vehicles, and other logistics requirements.

• Monitor transportation and logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

• Ensure proper documentation for deliveries, dispatches, and transportation activities.

• Resolve delivery delays, shortages, damages, and other logistics-related issues.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable logistics procedures.

• Prepare regular logistics reports and provide updates to management.

• Supervise and provide guidance to logistics staff and support continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related field.

• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction, real estate, engineering, or project-based organizations.

• Experience in construction material transportation, site logistics, fleet coordination, or supply chain operations.

• Strong planning, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Good knowledge of logistics documentation and inventory/transportation processes.

• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems.
