Key Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and execute import/export logistics, transit operations, and freight forwarding activities.

• Manage end-to-end documentation and customs clearance procedures (ESW portal operations, bank permits, and customs declarations).

• Liaise with shipping lines, transit agencies, transport providers, and dry ports to ensure seamless movement of goods.

• Track cargo shipments, mitigate demurrage and storage risks, and resolve transit bottlenecks proactively.

• Prepare operational tracking logs, logistics cost reports, and vendor performance evaluations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• BA Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in import/export logistics and transit management in Ethiopia.

• Proven technical familiarity with Ethiopian Customs Commission regulations and clearance workflows.

• Excellent problem-solving, operational communication, and stress-management capabilities.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and relevant logistics management systems.
