Job Summary

The Senior Sales and Marketing Officer wins and grows freight business for NTPLC by finding cargo owners, preparing offers, closing transport contracts, and keeping key customers satisfied.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement sales and marketing plans to achieve assigned revenue and customer-acquisition targets.

• Identify and approach prospective customers, cargo owners, importers/exporters, and transport service users.

• Develop business opportunities and follow up on potential transport contracts and tenders.

• Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to expand services.

• Conduct market research on customer demand, freight rates, competitor activity, and market trends.

• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and customer offers.

• Follow up on customer inquiries, complaints, and service feedback with relevant departments.

• Monitor sales activities, customer accounts, and progress against targets in the CRM/ERP.

• Prepare sales reports and support the division manager in contract negotiations.

Job Requirements

• BA/BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or business development.

• Experience selling transport, freight forwarding or logistics services is a strong advantage.
