Job Summary

We are looking for a highly responsible and experienced Senior Surveillance Operator to monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems, identify and respond to security incidents, maintain accurate records, and support the effective operation of the surveillance function. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, sound judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras, surveillance systems, and security equipment continuously.

• Detect, assess, document, and promptly report suspicious activities, security incidents, and safety concerns.

• Coordinate with security personnel and relevant departments during incidents and emergencies.

• Maintain accurate surveillance logs, incident reports, and shift handover records.

• Review and retrieve recorded footage when required for investigations and authorized requests.

• Ensure surveillance equipment is functioning properly and report technical faults promptly.

• Supervise and provide guidance to surveillance operators during assigned shifts.

• Conduct regular checks of monitoring procedures and ensure compliance with company security standards.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of surveillance information and recorded footage.

• Prepare daily, shift, and incident reports for management.

• Support investigations by providing accurate and timely surveillance information.

• Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate manager.

Job Requirements

Diploma or BA Degree in Security Management, Criminology, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in CCTV monitoring, surveillance operations, security control rooms, or a similar position.

• Previous experience in a senior or supervisory surveillance role is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of CCTV and video surveillance systems.

• Good computer skills and ability to operate surveillance and security software.

• Strong observation, communication, reporting, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
