We are seeking a Business Development Specialist who is energetic, persuasive, and growth-oriented to help expand our market presence, onboard partners, and drive business growth.

Position Overview

The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, onboarding merchants and vendors, building strategic partnerships, and contributing to the company’s overall growth strategy. This role requires strong communication skills, local market knowledge, and hands-on experience in startup or app-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion & Partnership Building:

  • Identify, approach, and onboard new business partners, vendors, restaurants, and retail stores to the Super App platform.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and mutual growth.
  • Explore new business verticals and local market opportunities to expand service coverage.
  • Participate in business networking, local events, and meetings to promote the brand and build partnerships.

Growth & Revenue Development:

  • Support the development and execution of strategies that drive user acquisition and vendor engagement.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve business growth targets.
  • Negotiate agreements and pricing structures with vendors and service partners.
  • Analyze sales performance and provide insights for business strategy improvement.

Operational & Strategic Support:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (operations, marketing, product, and customer service) to ensure smooth onboarding and partner satisfaction.
  • Gather and report market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer trends.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to enhance the Super App’s market positioning and business model.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales — ideally within tech startups, delivery platforms, ride-hailing, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving business growth and partnership targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of local markets and customer behaviors is a strong advantage.
