Shining stone International Business Plc is GC-1 Construction Company that is engaged in the Building Construction, Special Foundation & Pre-tensioning and Road Marking. Our Company is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position listed below. 

Position: - Accountant 

Technical Competency  

• Knowledge and experience in generally accepted accounting practices and principles.
• Experience in statutory and GAAP & IFRS reporting.
• Knowledge and experience in applicable laws, codes and regulations

Main Responsibility & Duties 

• Ensure the document and work sheets are properly filed for future reference
• Receive cash from main cashier.
• Receive payment request documents and Verify supporting documents.
• Check the availability of budget.
• Record all accrued expense.
• Prepare cash/bank payment vouchers with check.
• Deduct withhold tax as per tax proclamation.
• Effect cash payment up on an authorization by the designated authority.
• Receive official receipt with the proper tin number of the company.
• Analyze the transaction, summarize, code and update the general ledger.
• Settle purchase and per-diem advances accounts.
• Make paid stamp on each receipt or invoice. 
• Ensure the document and work sheets are properly filed for future reference.
• Prepare daily cash flow and closing.
• Collect, filter and record withholding, pensions, income tax and other tax from project and head office.
•  Reconcile tax recording with GL
• Declare and effect tax payment.
• Assist in tax audit
• Analyze, control and follow up staff debtor
• Receive employee payroll data
• Prepare payroll
• Prepare salary payment summary and send transfer letter to bank.
• Update GL payroll account and GIT account
• Ensure the document and work sheets are properly filed for future reference

Educational Qualification: - BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance and Other Related Field of study.

Work Experiences: - 4 years and above and from these at least 2 years in Similar positions. Construction work Experience is Advantageous.
