Purpose of the Role

To support and coordinate daily café operations across assigned outlets, ensure service quality and operational efficiency, and act on behalf of the Café Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities (Main)

•             Assist in managing day-to-day café operations

•             Ensure consistent service quality and operational standards

•             Support staff supervision, training, and performance management

•             Contribute to sales growth and cost control

Detailed Responsibilities

Café Operations

•             Supervise daily café activities and shift operations

•             Ensure compliance with service, hygiene, and food safety standards

•             Monitor product quality, presentation, and customer experience

•             Support implementation of SOPs across café operations

People & Shift Management

•             Assist in staff scheduling, attendance, and discipline

•             Support training and coaching of café staff

•             Promote teamwork and service excellence culture

Sales & Cost Control

•             Support sales targets and promotional activities

•             Monitor inventory levels, wastage, and stock usage

•             Assist in controlling operational and labor costs

Customer Service & Reporting

•             Handle customer feedback and service recovery

•             Prepare daily and weekly operational reports

•             Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and support teams

Qualification & Experience Requirements

•             Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business Administration, Management, or related field

•             Minimum 5 years experience in café or restaurant operations 3+ years in a managerial role

•             Strong knowledge of food & beverage service

•             Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

•             Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

•             Experience in coffee business is a strong advantage
