Job Summary

YASCAI & Family PLC is looking for qualified and motivated Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Level IV TVET qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, General Mechanics, Industrial Mechanics, Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Electricity, Electrical Installation, or with related field of study

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

• Maintain motors, pumps, mechanical components, electrical panels, and related equipment.

• Identify equipment problems and take appropriate corrective action.

• Support machinery installation and commissioning when required.

• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment breakdowns.

• Follow maintenance schedules, workplace safety procedures, and PPE requirements.

• Coordinate with production and other technical teams to minimize downtime.

Skills & Competencies

• Practical troubleshooting and maintenance skills in the applicant's area of specialization.

• Basic understanding of industrial machinery and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to use appropriate tools and testing instruments.

• Ability to read relevant technical drawings, diagrams, and equipment manuals.

• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and commitment to workplace safety
