Position: Construction Supervision Manager

Terms of Employment: Permanent upon performance evaluation
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Salary: Per Company Scale

Educational Background:
• MSc/BSc degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management or related fields

Work Experience:
• 10/12 years and above relevant experience out of which 3 years in managerial position

Specific Experience:
• Have managed different building, road, and water work projects.
• Should have at least supervised and lead the supervision works of 10 projects with different complexities.

Technical Skills and Competencies:
• Strong technical and engineering knowledge (civil, architectural, structural, MEP).
• Construction oversight and quality management to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
• Contract administration and documentation skills for managing reports, instructions, and records.
• Leadership and team coordination across multidisciplinary supervision teams.
• Health, safety, and risk management to enforce site safety and minimize hazards.
• Support construction: reviews, RFIs, variations
• Knowledge of codes, permits, value engineering
• Internal reviews and client management

Soft Skills:
• Inspires teams, communicates effectively, and problem-solves quickly
• Supports supervision with practical input
• Quality-focused and team-oriented

Software Proficiency:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Primavera, MS Project
• PMP and BIM taken as an advantage
